IT-M3900C low-voltage high-current power supply case for starter motor test
A starter motor, also called a starter motor, is a motor used to start a diesel or gasoline engine. The starter motor can effectively reduce the trouble of manpower starting the engine, start more quickly, and can be used repeatedly. It is often used for starting automobile engines, starting generators, and starting large-scale construction machinery.
According to the operating principle of the starter motor, a customer proposed to use the battery simulator power supply for testing.
Table 1 Performance parameters of the motor under test
No. Performance name Parameters
1 Rated power of starter (kW) 8.5
4 No-load performance Voltage (V) 24
5 Current (A) ≤130
6 Speed (r/min) ≥3000
7 Load performance Voltage (V) 19
8 Current (A) ≤700
9 Speed (r/min) ≥1100
10 Torque (Nm) ≥45
11 Braking performance Voltage (V) 10
12 Current (A) ≤2000
According to the motor parameters, the customer hopes that the battery simulator power supply can do:
Voltage 8-28V adjustable
Has a large current capacity of 2000A, and the power is as small as possible
5-10 milliohm internal resistance adjustable function to simulate lead-acid battery
Energy feedback structure to absorb reverse energy and save energy.
However, the battery simulator bidirectional power supply on the market, the voltage is mostly from 80V/100V, and the current is only 120A to 180A at a power of about 6kW. If you want to build a high current of more than 2000A, the power and volume will be large.
With the rapid iterative development of electronic technology, the IT-M3900C series bidirectional source launched by ITECH has great advantages in the field of low voltage and high current testing:
a) The closer test voltage is 0-32V;
b) Under the rated power, higher output current, 32V/80A/2KW/1U—32V/480A/12 KW/2U multi-model parameters are optional, support master-slave parallel active current sharing, and parallel machines do not need to be calibrated;
c) Higher speed, 15ms voltage change time, 5ms current change time, 1ms dynamic response time;
d) Two-way design, which can automatically absorb the reverse energy generated at the load end and convert it into alternating current and feed it back to the grid for repeated use;
e) Small size, high power density design makes system integration particularly easy;
f) Internal resistance adjustable function resolution up to 1mΩ
IT-M3900C series bidirectional DC source has high-speed, high-precision, low-voltage and high-current characteristics, and can also realize a variety of transient current curves to meet the testing requirements of fuses, contactors, fuses and other scenarios.
